SisuCHEMA Allows You to Scan More in Less

SPECIM's SisuCHEMA integrated chemical imaging workstation for small samples has been upgraded to allow more flexibility in sample handling when taking your measurements. Now, thicker samples of up to 40 mm can be scanned in a few seconds with minimal heat on your sample.

Mr. Harri Karjalainen (Product Manager at SPECIM) and a representative from UmBio AB will demonstrate SisuCHEMA at Achema next week in Frankfurt. You are welcome to take your own samples.

UmBio's chemometric software, Evince Image and the new Evince Online, will also be demonstrated. Come and see how Evince and SPECIM's NIR/SWIR hyperspectral systems provide high speed Chemical Solutions for QA and QC applications in food, pharma and other industries, from turnkey laboratory and near-line systems to real-time on-line applications.

SPECIM & SORMEN: Developing New Sorting Methods

SPECIM has successfully participated in the EU-funded project SORMEN: a pre-competitive research project with the aim of developing a new technology based on hyperspectral identification for the separation of non-ferrous metal waste from Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). By combining spectral and spatial image processing it is possible to create instrumentation to replace the labour intensive and time consuming manual work.
